If your truck is totally stock, then a stock balancer is fine, but once the power output and RPM at which power is made changes, you should have a Fluidampr! We stock the model that is compatible with both 6.2 and 6.5L DB2 or DS4 engines. The included spacer ring is used on older engines that do not have a crankshaft reluctor wheel on the lower timing gear. All 1994 and new engines, Optimizers, P400, etc will simply exclude the spacer ring during install.

M16x1.5 thread balancer tool is required to install this item. Please follow all instructions and contact us if you have any questions before installations. It is important to clean and lube the crankshaft snout, per the instructions, before installation.
