Ultimate PCV Catch Can
Our modern solution to an age old problem! Application specific, this setup is designed to handle the high-flow requirements of turbo diesel engines that have unavoidable blow-by. Alternative universal solutions can actually limit flow through the PCV system and add to your problems. This is NOT a modified gas engine setup; it is designed from the ground up for higher flow.
The base, universal, catch can features billet anodized aluminum construction, massive 1" ports with fittings, plugged remote drain port, and mounting bracket with stainless hardware. Use this on any turbo diesel application after completing the connections for your application.
Optional accessory kits make this a full bolt-on solution for 6.5L turbo diesel engines. You'll mount the can on the upper fan shroud with the included hardware, and connect between the CDR valve and turbocharger air inlet; capturing the oil mist and moisture before it enters the turbocharger & engine where it would normally reduce performance and create carbon buildup on valves. It's also ideal for intercooled setups where you don't want to gum up your core and reduce efficiency.
Installation will require re-use of your factory 90* rubber bellows from the CDR line, as seen in the photos. This makes the kit compatible with both factory, aftermarket replacement, and custom air intakes. An example photo is also attached for how to connect an aftermarket S&B Intake, using the 90* coupling those come with.
